Grade 2 Parents: Please Note Date Change!

The Director of St. Clements Eucharistic Shrine in Boston, Fr. Peter Grover, OVM, will be the guest speaker this evening.  Fr. Grover will discuss the Gift of the Eucharist. This is an adult presentation. All grade 2 parents are expected to attend.  Anyone else interested in attending the presentation is most welcome! Saint Mary’s Catechist Formation Evening Friday, March 12th Parish Hall, 6:30-8:30pm

Grade 3 Family Gathering Session
Celebrating the Triduum

Saturday, March 27th, Parish Hall

This gathering is for all grade 3 students, parents & catechists. A parent is expected to attend with their child.

  • Group A will attend the 9:30am - 10:30am session

  • Group B will attend the 11:00am - 12:00pm session

Religious Education Inclement Weather Policy

If Chelmsford Public Schools are cancelled for inclement weather, religious education classes will be cancelled. The announcement will be publicized through the religious education office outgoing phone message (978-256-3541). It will also be broadcasted on the following news channels:

  • Channel 4 wbz

  • Channel 5 wcvb

  • Channel 7 whdh

For Weekday Classes: 

The decision will be made Monday – Thursday by 1:00PM

For Sunday Classes:

The decision will be made Saturday evening or Sunday by 6:00AM or in case of mid-afternoon storm by 1:00pm

Should we experience inclement weather, kindly check the Religious Education voice message system, St. Mary’s parish website (www.saint-mary.org) and local weather stations for closing information.  As the weather in New England can be somewhat unpredictable, please know that we respect and expect parents to use their own prudential judgment in regard to the safety of transporting their family members during periods of inclement weather.

Cell Phone Cancellation Notification

7NEWS wants you to know that you can be notified on your cell phone as soon as your child’s school closes or delays classes because of a snow storm.

If you’re interested in taking advantage of this convenient feature, just go to www.whdh.com and click on “Snow Day Alert.”  You will need to input your cell phone number, the name of your carrier and can then choose the schools you are interested in hearing about.  You can easily add or remove schools from your profile at any time.
