There were over 500 Young Adults at the 11th Annual OYA
Conference, “ 2001: A Faith Odyssey: Encountering
God in Daily Life”. There was an opportunity to attend 3 workshops, be
part of a morning meditative prayer service, hear a speech by keynote
speaker Peter Lynch (Vice Chairman of Fidelity Management & Research
Company), partake in a Mass offered by his Eminence Cardinal Bernard Law
and even attend a Dance at night. The day was spiritually enlightening
& very enriching. On the first Friday in April, Father Paul Berube led
us in the Stations of the Cross & we enjoyed a bite to eat following
that service. The Philadelphia Story Join us
as we attend the play “The Philadelphia Story”. The play co-stars
Chris Connell. It is a Romantic Comedy. We will meet at Saint Mary’s
Parking Lot on Saturday night May 5th at 7:15pm sharp so we can carpool to
the Nashua Playhouse on Court Street. If you are unable to attend the show
with the group, there is a performance on Friday May 4th at
8:00pm. The cost to attend the play is $10.00 at the door or $8.00 if the
tickets are purchased in advance. More information on the event can be
obtained by calling the Nashua Playhouse Box office at 603-880-0234 Pawtucket Red Sox Game & Barbecue
